Martin was recognized as a new EUSFLAT Honorary Member in the General Assembly held in Rome (Italy) during the IPMU 2026 conference. He was nominated by the board, and his candidature was approved by unanimity, in consonance with the following criteria: (i) long-time loyalty and strong contributions to the Society; (ii) strong contributions to EUSFLAT’s scientific field; and (iii) prestige, authority, and experience. This award will be formally given in the Gala Dinner of the next IFSA-EUSFLAT 2027 conference, in Bari, in September 2027.
