Keynote talk at IEEE WCCI 2026

Gabriella Casalino, the EUSFLAT secretary, presented her work in a plenary talk today at IEEE WCCI 2026: “Towards Explainable AI for Bipolar Disorder Monitoring”. Good job! It is worth noting that this is a work developed in collaboration with Katarzyna Kaczmarek-Majer, who is the EUSFLAT Vice-president, and framed in the project ExplainME.

IEEE 2026 Fuzzy Systems Pioneer Award

Congratulations to Vladik Kreinovich, Professor of Computer Sciences with the University of Texas at El Paso, who received the IEEE 2026 Fuzzy Systems Pioneer Award (sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society) at IEEE WCCI 2026. This award recognizes Vladik’s outstanding and pioneering contributions to developing interval techniques for dealing with fuzzy uncertainty. Good Job:
